In the past the Branch has helped organise excel training for members which proved to be very popular and we believe that many members will now want to take advantage of the extensive range of courses which are on offer. Whether it’s for enhancing your career or for your own personal development, there’s much from which to choose.
The event takes place on Friday 24th February 2023 via Microsoft TEAMs at:

Can my friend/colleague who is a non-member attend the meeting?
Clearly to be able to get the benefits of UNISON College, they will need to be a member and that’s only proper. However, we do welcome non-members to the event in the hope that they will join UNISON. So please pass on this invitation to anyone who might be interested.
How can they join the union ?
Non-members can join via https://joining.unison.org.uk/join-unison-today/
Or by contacting Nevil our Branch Secretary at: nevil.fanibanda@britishgas.co.uk
Free courses and Learning support for UNISON members
Did you know that:
- In 2022 UNISON supported over 2000 learners across the East Midlands?

Despite this too many members aren’t aware of how UNISON can support their development. The courses are all free and varied and can help with your progress at work, build your confidence, gain new skills or take you in a whole new direction.
