Stop Leicestershire County Care Ltd Putting Profit Before People
Plans by a major Leicestershire care home employer to make drastic cuts to pay, sick leave and holidays for more than 100 staff are beyond belief.
The move by Leicestershire County Care, whose parent company Johnson Care Group made accumulated profits of £4.8m last year, is an ‘insult’ to already low-paid workers who are putting their lives on the line during the coronavirus pandemic.
UPDATE 10/06/2020
We had a further meeting with Dr Kananda yesterday. It is still uncertain exactly what changes LCCL are proposing.
LCCL have said they will provide their final proposal today (Wednesday 10th June).
As soon as we have this information we will communicate this to you in full.
At this time our advice remains the same – don’t sign anything without speaking to us first.
Have you signed our petition?
Call on LCCL to drop these unfair and unjust cuts
