Following the chancellor’s spring statement on Wednesday (23 March) East Midlands regional secretary Chris Jenkinson gave his reaction to BBC East Midlands Today.
Chris also went on to say: “The chancellor decided to back big business and turn his face against our members. But our members still need a pay rise. So, once again, as always, the trade union and labour movement must take up the challenge of organising in the workplace and campaigning in communities, to fight for better wages.”
