The TUC Black Women and Sexual Harassment Advisory Group working alongside Queen Mary University, has launched a survey to gather data on Black women’s experiences of sexual harassment in the workplace.
The survey is linked below and is only for those who self-identify as Black women. The TUC uses the term Black is used in a broad political and inclusive sense to describe people in the UK who have suffered from colonialism and enslavement in the past and continue to experience racism and diminished opportunities in today’s society.
Your insights and experiences are incredibly valuable to us as we strive to understand and address this crucial issue. By participating, you will anonymously contribute to this important research and the subsequent development of strategies and policies aimed at fostering safe and respectful workplaces for all employees.
Your responses will remain confidential and will be used solely for this research purposes. Your participation is entirely voluntary, and you may choose to withdraw from the survey at any time.
The survey will take approximately 15 minutes to complete. Your time and input are appreciated, and we thank you in advance for your participation, as well as your support in distributing the link amongst your networks. The deadline to complete the survey is 15th June 2024.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding the survey, please do not hesitate to contact Carol Ferguson via email: cferguson@tuc.org.uk
