We have reached February, which is that time of the year to look back at the achievements of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Trans plus (LGBT+) community over the years! Let us do it in style, in a way that is thought-provoking, memorable, interesting and enjoyable…

Here, in the East Midlands region, the LGBT+ Group have organised a special event to mark the occasion. This follows on from last year’s success, and will kick-start 2024 – Year of the LGBT+ Worker.

As previously advertised, the event will be on Friday 16^th February between 11am and 2pm. We have already received a lot of interest and bookings, but there are a few places remaining. All members in the East Midlands are welcome, it is an open event where you don’t need to define as LGBT+. The session is a learning opportunity and your employer might allow you time to attend and benefit from this.

The venue is the East Midlands Regional Office, Vivian Avenue, Nottingham, NG5 1AF. You will be reimbursed for travel expenses, and there will be a free buffet lunch, alternatively you can join via MS Teams. In-person attendance is encouraged for you to get the most out of the session.

• If attending in-person or virtually
• Any dietary requirements (for in-person attendance).
