This one-day convention is open to all activists and is central to our Organising to Win strategy. It’s a chance to inspire, train, and empower activists – new and experienced – to take organising in their workplaces to the next level.
The day will feature:
Workshops led by experienced organisers and experts
A keynote speech to inspire and energise
Opportunities to network, share ideas, and connect with other UNISON activists across the region
Whether you’re new to activism or have years of experience, this convention is your chance to:

How branch secretaries can help:
✅ Share the event with your activists and encourage them to register
✅ Identify activists who would benefit from and urge them to attend
✅ Support their development by covering travel expenses and a £5 registration fee per activist
✅ Help activists secure time off from work for union activities where appropriate
