We need your nominations for the 2026 UNISON East Midlands Branch Awards!
Do you know an activist who has gone above and beyond? Are you proud of what your branch team has achieved in the past year? If so, we want to celebrate with you!
All nominations will be considered by the Regional Convenor Team, with awards presented at the Branch Awards dinner on Friday 6 February 2026 in Lincoln.
This year, the award categories are:
- Recruitment Award – for a branch/activist going above and beyond to recruit new members
- Be The Reason Award – for excelling in the recruitment and training of new activists
- Win of the Year Award – to recognise a campaign or negotiation win which has improved the working lives of UNISON members
- Communication Award – for fantastic communications to members
- Equalities Award – to recognise those striving to make the world a more equal and inclusive place
- Promoting Member Learning Award – for those helping members through lifelong learning
- Activist Rising Star Award – for someone who might be newer to activism, but has already made a real difference
- Outstanding Activist Award – for someone who has shown exemplary dedication and service to UNISON members
