This is the weekly expression of public support for public service workers in recognition on their amazing contribution through the Covid crisis.

Dozens of emergency service workers visited hospitals across Leicester and the county to applaud the work of the NHS. At Leicester Royal Infirmary, police cars, fire engines and ambulances flashed their blue lights at 8 pm while officers and crews joined in the applause. There were similar scenes at Glenfield Hospital and Leicester General Hospital.
