UNISON ensure amazing NHS staff risking their lives on front line receive thousands of care packages across Northamptonshire
UNISON Northamptonshire Health Workers Branch has been busy dealing with a high volume of member queries during the COVID19 crisis. Speaking to members every day we know the challengingsituations you have been facing. The branch has taken your concerns directly to the employer and resolved hundreds of them over the past weeks and is pushing for more every day.
The UNISON branch wanted to shows its appreciation for staff so has dropped off thousands of care packages including tea, biscuits and sweets across Northamptonshire.
Elliot Dean UNISON East Midlands Regional Organiser said “I’m humbled at the bravery, hard work and dedication of staff across the care sector and our NHS. They’re doing an amazing job caring for us and our loved ones in incredibly difficult and often harrowing circumstances. Hopefully this small gesture will give staff the chance to enjoy a break with a cup of tea and a biscuit even during these difficult times.”
