The results of our annual learning survey for 2024 are now available.
Conducted as part of Learning at Work Week over 2500 East Midlands members took part and let us know what they want to learn and what they think of UNISON’s learning offer.
Key Points:
- 42% state that UNISON’s learning offer provides ‘real added value’ to their membership
- Sign Language, Confidence Skills, First Aid, and Supporting Children are the most popular courses for personal development
- Neurodiversity, Management/Team Leading, and IT are the most popular courses for professional development
- Over 50% of respondents requested Mindfulness training, a further indication of the stress and anxiety faced by Public Service workers
- 29% feel that their employer does not provide the training they need to do their current role
