Young Members UNISON East Midlands AGM and training weekend to be held at the Crowne Plaza in Nottingham from 5.00pm 7.00pm Friday March 20th (dinner will be provided) and from 10.00 – 2.00pm on Saturday 21st March (lunch provided) in Nottingham.
This should be a great event. It is an opportunity to meet and work with other UNISON Young member activists from across the East Midlands. Nadia Whittome MP, the youngest MP elected in the recent general election, will be joining us on the Friday evening, and will talk with delegates as part of the event. There will be training activities, the AGM where young members will have the chance to become a unison representative on regional UNISON committees and they will also be electing a Young member representative to the UNISON National Delegate Conference. We have regional funding for some overnight hotel accommodation for Young members who are from outside of Nottingham.
The closing date for applications is Friday 28th February so they will need to be quick!
