Every year UNISON holds an annual national celebration day for school support staff on Friday 26 November.
This year, UNISON East Midlands are excited to announce that, in addition to celebrating school support staff across the East Midlands, we will be hosting our first, UNISON East Midlands ‘Hidden Hero Awards’.
That is why we need your help to nominate colleagues that you know have gone above and beyond in making your school a safe and happy place for children to learn.
We then intend to come into your school, present your colleague with a shiny award, a £50 voucher and to make a big fuss of them.
To nominate a colleague please do the following:
- Fill the form out below
- Nominations can be for any and all school support staff (members & non- members)
- Nominations can only be made by UNISON members and Headteachers (or equivalent role)
- If you are a member, you are required to get the sign off from your headteacher before submitting a nomination.
- You will need to let us know in approximately 350 words or less, why they deserve a Hidden Hero Award.
Nominations are open from 6 September to 11 October 2021.
